Go Green Grasshoppers!

It's March, we're in the thick of March Madness, my team is out of the tournament, and my bracket is shot, so on to other sports.  The Green Grasshoppers continue to rock the soccer field.  Yes, we put Quinn on a soccer team full of 3-5 year olds.  Why, you ask?  Well, his teachers suggested that he could possibly benefit from a team sport, and his best buddy at school, Madin, has been playing for a while and Quinn seemed into the idea of playing on his team.

The most striking thing about the team is the difference between the 3 and the 5 year olds.  The 5 year olds actually play soccer while the 3 year olds run frantically around the field and may occasionally even kick (or grab) the ball.  Quinn is one of those kids, but he's enthusiastic on the field (for a little while anyway) and seems to enjoy following the coaches instructions....and he even kicks the ball sometimes...occasionally in the right direction.  :)  

Nah, it's a lot of fun and we're just glad that he seems to be enjoying himself.  Here are a couple of photos of the action.
