Hangin' with the cuz

Tonight was Uncle John's birthday and we celebrated with dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Aunt Jaime bought both boys handy little roll up place mats that stick to the table and catch the stuff the kids knock off the table. We gave them a little pasta to try. It was amusing to watch the boys' different approaches to the new food. Quinn attacked his food and managed to shovel some of the pieces into his mouth (though most ended up on the floor). Kyan, in contrast, carefully studied each piece of spaghetti before making any moves. This photo captures the moment pretty well:
