Trick or Treat Under the Sea = Halloween aquarium style. They open the doors from 4:30 - 8pm for trick-or-treating with the fishes. Quinn and his buddy Lincoln took the aquarium by storm tonight. Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way there.

Quinn woke up in the parking lot...

...but Lincoln was very sleepy and decided to take a nap on the floor.

Quinny the scary shark tried to rouse the sleepy panda, but was unsucessful.

What happens when you keep a baby up too late

So Quinn was a party animal this weekend and was up way past his bedtime for two nights. As a result on Sunday he refused to go to bed at his normal early hour and instead went kinda crazy. For about a half hour he was super amped and animated. He was really enjoying Merlin and making some pretty humorous noises. Here are some so-so quality videos capturing the moment.

Pugtoberfest

This one's for you, Jaime!

Jaime is on the board for San Diego Pug Rescue and one of their annual fundraisers is Pugtoberfest, where the pugs get dressed up in lederhosen and dirndls and drink lots of beer. They produce a t-shirt every year and this year even Quinny received one from Aunt Jaime. We went to an Oktoberfest party this past weekend and thought it would be the perfect occasion to be ueber-dorky and dress the whole family alike. We were quite the sight!

Fall in NC

Fall is finally here and we've been enjoying the cooler weather. We've snapped a few photos over the past week or so that are worthy of sharing.

Here is Quinn in his new toy (Thanks for the loaner, Whitney!). He really enjoys this thing - even when we put him in it backwards! Oops.

Today I walked upstairs expecting to find a sleeping baby, but instead was greeted by this cute happy boy. He'd just been hanging out with the cats.

My mom and dad came up for the week to help take care of Quinn while Jeff was living it up in Canada. I think they had a pretty good time with their grandson. For some reason we got a lot more photos of dad with Q, but here's one of the whole crew.
